Lorna began working as a Funeral Director with Levertons in January 2020, supporting all of our branches and now manages the Kentish Town branch. She has a degree in history and is a qualified teacher, but has 20 years’ experience in customer-focussed roles, management, and administration. Lorna enjoys the variety within her job, because all families and all funerals are different, and appreciates being able to help people at a time when it is needed most.
In her spare time, she reads, walks, volunteers as a Scout Leader, and is always keen find something new and unusual to do in and around London.
All of the staff here are absolutely brilliant but especially Carmel who arranged my Dad's funeral. She answered my constant stream of questions and emails, was there every step of the way for us all and was so lovely with it all. She took all of the stress from us and guided us through it all from beginning to end which was just the biggest relief as we had no clue what to do. We would have been lost without her.

The funeral was carried out very sensitively and highly professionally by Levertons. Deborah always made herself available or responded quickly and was extremely helpful. She made sure we covered all that needed to be done and coordinated with others on our behalf to make things run smoothly, down to the smallest detail.

Leverton and sons are a very organised business, never having planned a funeral myself I didn’t know how much would go into it but they made the process as easy as possible, everything was always efficient which made the organising of the funeral very quick. James was the person in charge of organising the funeral, he was quick at responding to calls/emails and answering any questions we had. Everything was as we wanted it and was very happy with the service that they provided.

I think that from the very beginning until the very end Levertons were absolutely brilliant. Helpful, professional and I cannot think of a word that conveys how good they were. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

From the moment we contacted Leverton & Sons Funeral Directors, we were met with the most professional and compassionate service we could have hoped for. Their care and attention to detail were impeccable from start to finish. The removal of our mum’s body was handled with such kindness and respect, which gave us great comfort during such a difficult time. They guided us every step of the way, offering invaluable advice and assistance with obtaining the death certificate and making all the funeral arrangements. Even when it came to smaller details, like recommending a florist, their support was outstanding. On the day of the funeral, everything went seamlessly, a testament to their professionalism and dedication.
